With Pre-Launch, the date when we expect to receive the product ourselves is still a little too hazy to be confident in accepting Pre-Orders.

So, instead, you can submit your email address against the item you are interested in and we will email you as soon as stock arrives on the system.

Can I return an unwanted item?

We feel that you should be totally satisfied with your purchase from True North Cycle Hub, If, however, you wish to return an item as unwanted you can return it within 14 days from the date you receive the product. Please note that we require you to contact us by email and quote your invoice/receipt number and reasons for return prior to sending the item back. Please see below for important details on the condition of an unwanted item return.

The cost of the item will be refunded, but any initial delivery costs will not be refunded. Return costs are payable by customer, also see courier collections.

Condition of return.

If you want to return an unwanted item, the item must be as priority unused, in its original condition and suitable for resale (the items must be in an “as new” condition and in the original packaging including labels, stickers, additional accessories etc.). If reasonable care has not been taken of the item prior to our receipt, resulting in damage or deterioration of the goods or packaging then a charge will be applied for the reduction in value. The item must be accompanied by the invoice/receipt with details of the reason for return stated. You are responsible for the item until it reaches us; we, therefore, suggest that you use a secure method of delivery e.g. signed delivery. The customer is responsible for any delivery charges incurred for the return of an unwanted item. Remember, all packaging must be undamaged so please do not tape up packaging or write on it as this will make it unacceptable, this particularly applies to any boxed item, the box must not be used as external packaging!

Incorrectly delivered items.

Should in the unlikely event that we send a wrong item we will, at our expense, arrange a collection or supply a pre paid postage label to enable you to return the incorrect item to us. Once we have received the item back we will issue you a replacement item.

Damaged in transit.

Please check your purchase upon arrival. If you notice any damage to the packaging please sign for it as damaged and notify us within 24 hours. Please email to info@truenorthcyclehub.co.uk photographs and description of the damage. Once accepted we will arrange a collection or supply a pre paid postage label to you to enable you to return the damaged item. Once we have received the item back we will issue you a replacement item should a replacement be available.

When will I receive a refund?

The customer can expect to receive the refund of the cost for the item within two weeks of us receiving the item (assuming satisfaction with the condition of the product).

The centrepiece of SRAM's Eagle drivetrains are the 12-speed cassettes, and the PG-1230 Eagle Cassette forms the centrepiece of the NX Eagle groupset, by providing the same wall climbing 50t bottom cog as the other groupsets, while the use of an 11t top cog means the cassette fits on a regular 8/9/10 speed splined freehub, meaning lower cost and better compatibility.

Based around SRAM's DUB 28.99 axle standard, the NX Eagle DUB crankset features 6000-series forged aluminium arms that are both strong, stiff and lightweight and when used in conjunction with SRAM's DUB bottom brackets provide a smoother running and more durable system. The DUB system replaces SRAM's previous GXP and BB30 crank and bottom bracket systems to provide improved durability, better compatibility and a stiffer, stronger and lighter product.

DUB cranks can be used with any existing bottom bracket standard when used with the appropriate DUB bottom bracket. Performance benefits aside, it also means your crank is future proofed in case you happen to swap your frame.

SRAM's X-Sync 2 chainrings set the standard when the design was first released alongside the XX1 and X01 Eagle drivetrains and the NX Eagle DUB crankset uses a more durable steel version that uses the same unique hooked tooth profile that tenaciously holds the chain in place as well as improving durability of the chainring and chain.

The NX Eagle Rear Derailleur features SRAM's X-Actuation technology which has been developed specifically for SRAM 1x drivetrains to ensure that shifting remains sharp, smooth and consistent across the entire cassette.

The NX Eagle Trigger shifter uses the same ergonomic design as SRAM's higher end shifters and carries over many of their features, including Zero Loss to provide instant and responsive shifting as well as being MatchMaker X compatible, so it can be easily synced with SRAM brake levers to leave a clean, uncluttered cockpit. The NX Eagle Trigger Shifter also features a unique cover for the gear cable, so you can easily change the gear cable without having to dismantle the shifter cover, making cable changes a breeze.

Using the same design and manufacturing techniques as SRAM's higher end Eagle chains, the NX Eagle Chain uses a highly durable solid pin construction and clever link profile to provide precise and slick shifting under even the harshest conditions. The unique profile also provides significantly reduced wear on Eagle cassettes and chainrings, massively extending the usable life of your drivetrain. SRAM's PowerLock quick links also make installation and removal a breeze.

SRAM's NX Eagle DUB Groupset may cost a fraction of their higher end groupsets, but the performance is still exemplary and it packs an almighty punch without putting too big of a dent in your wallet. Wide range 1x drivetrains have never been so attainable thanks to NX Eagle.

X-Sync 2:X-Sync 2 Eagle is the next evolution of SRAM X-Sync technology. The aggressive tooth design provides better chain retention for a smoother, more efficient pedal feel. With a focus on long wear-life, the X-Sync Eagle design reduces friction and the accumulation of mud, grit and grime.

DUB Technology:The relationship between the bottom bracket spindle and bearing is the core of DUB™ technology. It’s where stiffness meets durability. SRAM took it a step beyond conventional thinking and made everything simpler, by better integrating the relationship between chainring, crank, spindle and bottom bracket. It’s this clear system approach that equals better drivetrain performance.

Zero Loss:The gear cable is engaged instantly with zero loss of movement when you press a shift trigger, every gear change is instant and precise.

Matchmaker X Integrated:You can put everything from your XLoc suspension lockout, your SRAM shifters and brake levers as well as your Reverb XLoc remote, all on two clamps. It’s the ideal way to put everything within easy reach and tidies up your bike’s cockpit.

Cage Lock:With Cage Lock technology in the rear derailleur, wheel removal and installation, as well as chain installation, becomes faster and simpler. Just push the cage forward to create slack and lock it into place

X-Actuation:Developed specifically for SRAM 1x drivetrains, X-Actuation keeps shifting sharp and consistent across the entire cassette. This makes gears easy to index and provides exceptional performance.

X-Horizon:The X-Horizon ‘straight parallelogram’ design limits all movement on the horizontal axis, which makes ghost shifting impossible while also reducing shift force. The large upper pulley offset design maintains a constant chain gap across all gears and guarantees faster and more exact shifting.

Flow Link:Ultra-smooth chain inner-plates are completely devoid of square edges, resulting in a chain that engages the cassette and chainring with far less friction, for quieter performance and better wear life. The design allows a narrower overall profile and a flatter outer plate that can withstand greater shifting angles. This means more consistent chain riveting and enhanced overall strength is achieved.

PowerLock:SRAM chain engineers developed PowerLock as a tool-free and consistent way to connect mountain bike chains. While PowerLock does not require special tools for installation, the especially tight tolerances of 10, 11 and 12-Speed drivetrains mandate that each PowerLock is good for a one-time application only.

X-Glide 2:This optimised cassette technology, which has been custom designed for the Eagle drivetrain is the next generation of X-Glide shifting. It provides quick, precise, power-on shifting performance throughout the gear range, and increases chain retention on larger cogs.
